Green Wash UK Receives Young Entrepreneurs “Bright Ideas” Award

Green Wash UK – Waterless Car Wash company director, Simeon Ivanov receives Young Entrepreneur Award.

Founded on November 2009 by a group of 5 second-year student from Kingston University London, Green Wash is turning out to be a real business for these young students.  Simeon Ivanov, Managing Director of Green Wash says: “England is one of the most developed countries in the world and environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility is something that big companies are striving to incorporate in their operations. We have decided to make those two things the core of our business and Green Wash seemed like the best choice.”

Green Wash is already turning into a real business for these young students. Their determination and hard work has lured the attention of several other organizations which are willing to provide their support for the expansion of the entity.

The team at Green Wash has decided to work exclusively with the leaders in the waterless car wash industry. One of those leaders is David Elliott, founder/ co-owner of the American company Freedom Waterless Car Wash, who produces and supplies Green Wash with waterless car wash products to perform their jobs. Having a partner across the ocean, allows the young firm to gain access to the successful experience and professional support of their American colleagues.

Moreover, only 3 months after Green Wash was established, the firm won a prestigious award for its business plan. The Bright Ideas Awards is an annual event which gathers students from South England to compete with different projects for financing in the form of grants. Green Wash was chosen as a runner-up project in February 2010 from over 270 competitors, despite competing mostly against social enterprises. After observing their business plan, the young students were invited to present their waterless car wash products at one of the biggest environmental events in London in May 2010. The “Paint the town green” event has the main aim to raise the awareness of current environmental issues. Green Wash has started with a small investment of $900 which those 5 students raised by themselves. “We spent many hours working on developing Green Wash from scratch into a real firm. – says the young Managing Director.

The management team of Green Wash said that they do not fear competition and will be happy to attract more of the rival companies to enter the market with the same type of products. Please visit the Green Wash UK website: www.greenwash-waterless.co.uk
